A fine print of a bare-knuckle contest for a prize of 1000 guineas.

According to the sub-title, the fight lasted for one hour and nineteen minutes (a total of 47 rounds) with Broome being declared the winner. Hannan, at 5ft. 5in., weighed 9 st. 3lbs (139 lbs) and Broome, at 5ft 6 1/2in., was slightly heavier at 9st. 10lbs. (146lbs.).
