An amusing work, which includes details on frauds and sharp practice, all tried by the author. It includes a chapter on how to travel without money by simply rushing into towns in fine clothes, disarmed and penniless, and therefore receiving hospitality from the gentry. Another chapter deals with paying debts without money. The preface is signed in print "Vale."
