The session laws for Maryland in 1746, printed in Annapolis. One of the earliest imprints of Jonas Green, the second successful printer in Maryland, and member of the prolific family of printers founded in Massachusetts in the 17th century. Most notable among the acts passed this year is the act encouraging any able-bodied freeman to enlist in the British military for the purposes of fighting the French in Canada during King George's War. Rare, ESTC records only two copies, both in Maryland institutions.
