An impressive collection of Knights Templar calling cards.

The twenty-fourth Triennial Grand Conclave of the Knights Templar was held October 8th to 10th in Washington D.C. The calling cards, beautifully printed in gold and colors and including an intricate array of Masonic symbols, were actively collected and traded by members. At the time of this conclave, Carlos G. Young, the compilor of the present album who attended the conclave, served as the Generalissimo of the Golden Gate Commandery, No. 16, K.T. In the rear of this album is a souvenir pamphlet (printed recto only, and disbound and mounted within the album) titled Pilgrimage of Golden Gate Commandery No. 16 Knights Templar ... to Washington, D.C. which details day-by-day the San Francisco commandery's trip to the Conclave.
