Eighteenth century Prussian Album Amicorum.
The first entry, a watercolor serving as a title page, identifies the owner as Rüdiger on a stone monument, with an asklepian leaning on one side, two herbals opened in the foreground and a shelf with books, medicines and specimens on the right. The "title," in addition to the many medical related entries, suggest Rüdiger to be a physician, or a medical student. Many of the entries seem to also be from physicians serving in army regiments.
